World Naked Bike Ride
World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR). What is it good for? Does it help promote naturism? Or is it counterproductive?
Although I like to be naked, cycling in public feels very uncomfortable. Especially in my own city.
Looking for information about WNBR, I notice that there is little structure to be found. Not a clearly umbrella organization that conveys a clear message. Even worse, the website www.worldnakedbikeride.org has been unchanged since 2009. The underlying wiki is still being updated, but that is just as legible as a telephone book.
Many cheerful photos and videos can be found on social media. But I do not find a clear message here either. Or is this the charm of WNBR? Each city gives it its own interpretation.
What do you think of the WNBR? Maybe you have already participated?

I have only done London so far which is quite amazing once you get over being a tourist attraction. Scale and Freedom are fantastic along with great stewarding of the various sections which finally unite at Lincoln’s Inn Fields before the final couple kilometres. Must try a different venue when they resume and provide future more informed comment.
